We Welcome Your Questions
If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail our staff or call Mr. Kassel directly. We are happy to answer any questions you may have regarding our training, state licensing, or your career. In fact, a former student has probably already asked your question so we provide a link to an FAQ page that provides instant answers to the most frequently asked questions. You’ll find a brief overview that answers the most common questions about our training program. And you’ll find answers and links that provide everything you need to know to enroll in our program and become a qualified Private Investigator.
Course Overview:
DTI is a home-study course (distance education) consisting of 35 lessons and
seven open-book examinations. Although students can
enroll online and communicate with instructors online, the
course is professionally formatted into two printed manuals
for easy reference when conducting the Detective Field
Exercises. On average, it takes 3 to 6 months to complete the course, depending on the number of Detective Exercises completed,
but students have up to 24 months to complete the program. Upon completion, students are issued a
State-Approved Diploma that documents their mastery of key investigator skills and professional knowledge. For more information, click on the following topic links:
